TRI - COLOUR THEMED
To help children learn about the significance of India’s Independence Day and the national symbols, while developing their creativity and fine motor skills through fun art activities.
As part of the Independence Day celebrations, the Kindergarten section conducted an engaging art activity based on the Tri-Colour theme.
• UKG students participated in a Paper Crumbling Activity, where they used saffron, white, and green papers to fill in different Independence Day–related charts.
• LKG students took part in a Paper Tearing Activity, tearing coloured papers and pasting them to decorate similar charts.
The charts included representations of:
• Indian National Flag – Symbolizing pride and unity.
• National Bird (Peacock) – Showcasing India’s beauty and grace.
• National Fruit (Mango) – Representing abundance and joy.
• National Animal (Tiger) – Signifying strength and courage.
and many other National Symbols.
Children learned about the significance of the national symbols. Enhanced fine motor skills through crumbling and tearing paper. Encouraged teamwork and creativity among classmates.
Fostered a sense of patriotism in young minds.
The activity was a joyful and colourful celebration of India’s Independence Day. The enthusiastic participation of students, along with the vibrant tri-colour creations, filled the classroom with festive spirit and national pride.
