The Day two proceedings of Josephest 2025 commenced amidst an atmosphere brimming with intellect, artistry, and competitive fervour. To set a reflective tone for the events ahead, a solemn recitation of the Lord’s prayer was done by Om Tiwari, Head Prefect of the College followed by the recitation of the College anthem. Qawwali, the first event of the day, took off with the participants mesmerising the audience with their profound musical acumen. Qawwali was judged by illustrious personalities such as Mr. Vivek Priyadarshan, Mr. Rahul Ram Kesari and Dr. Akansha Pal.
The Information Technology Association screened a compelling documentary titled ‘Life at SJC’, offering a nuanced and evocative portrayal of the formative experiences that characterise student life at St Joseph’s College. The film eloquently encapsulated the ethos of the institution, weaving together scenes of academic engagement, co-curricular involvement, and enduring camaraderie. This reflective presentation was immediately followed by the unveiling of an electrifying trailer, which set an anticipatory tone for the second day of Josephest 2025 and heralded the array of events to come.
