Description:
Which phase of life is undoubtedly the most challenging and confusing period of a person's life? It is Adolescence. Thus, it stands to reason that adolescents should be counselled to lead morally upright lives.
St.Joseph's College, Prayagraj, is always interested in resolving the issues of adolescents, guiding them and motivating them to be sensible grown-ups. Conscious of the need to train students to be aware about general awareness on adolescent hygiene and sexual health, a seminar on the same was organised in the Hogan Hall on 27th April 2024.
The seminar commenced with the Administrator, Mr.A.Mc Gowan felicitating the Resource Person and the Speaker of the day, Dr.Vibhav Malviya. Daksh Lyall led he gathering in the prayer while Mrs.C.Walia,a senior teacher and Aditya Mishra, as a representative of the students, both introduced Dr.Vibhav Malviya as a well-known person in the field of medicine. Dr.Vibhav Malviya, Head of Urology, Phoenix Hospital, Prayagraj, then, addressed the doubts of classes 11 and 12 in an interactive seminar.
The programme was graced by the august presence of the College Principal, Rev.Fr. Thomas Kumar, the Staff Coordinator, Mr.J.Dube and all the senior teachers of Classes 11 and 12.
